EDWARD ZACKA

I’m Edward Zacka, Owner and Operator of Edward Zacka Painting & Waterproofing Inc. I’ve been in the painting and waterproofing industry since 1986, bringing nearly four decades of experience to my craft. My career began unexpectedly when a family friend introduced me to the trade. He told me, “It’s not a lot of money, but it’s a trade that can get you somewhere.” Those words stuck with me and set me on the path that became my life’s work.

I spent 15 years working my way up to foreman—leading crews, learning the nuances of the trade, and sharpening my skills—before taking the leap in 2001 to start my own company. Since then, my mission has been to build a business known in Fort Myers for quality, fairness, and dependability. I take great pride not only in the craftsmanship of my work but also in the trust I've earned with customers over the years.

Outside of painting, I’m a coastal guy through and through. I’m a lifelong Miami Dolphins fan, an avid fisherman, and someone who enjoys the simple things—BBQs, time with family and neighbors, and vacations around Florida. Family means everything to me. My wife, Kendra, and I have built a life we’re proud of, surrounded by loved ones. I’m a proud father of two adult children, and soon I’ll be stepping into my newest role—becoming a grandfather, something I’m truly excited about.
